ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 5001: 2018, and ISO 14001: 2015 Certifications have been awarded to Salarjung Museum.

In view of International Museum Day on 18th May 2026, the Museum will remain open till 8:00 PM with free entry to all visitors throughout the day.

Salar Jung Museum will close at 3:00 PM on 14.06.2026 for 75 Years & Birth Anniversary of Salar Jung III. Booking counters close at 2:15 PM.

Food, drinks, and liquids are not permitted inside the galleries.

Large bags, luggage, and bulky items must be deposited at the Cloak Room before entering the museum.

Pets and animals are not allowed inside the museum premises, except where required by law for accessibility assistance.

Photography may be permitted with a valid photography ticket; however, flash photography is strictly prohibited to protect the artworks and artifacts.

Please do not touch any object on display, as many artifacts are delicate and irreplaceable.
